Tampere Hall

Tampere Hall is the largest conference and concert centre in the Nordic countries, with about 371,000 visitors per year. Approximately 700 events are organised here annually, bringing in roughly 35 million euros to the local economy.

Tampere Hall’s facilities are functional and can be rented for all kinds of events. The building contains overall 20 different and easily adaptable venues with versatile features.

Tampere Hall’s Main auditorium has 1800 seats, and draws many top Finnish artists and international stars each year. The size and layout of the Main auditorium have been designed with the requirements of large-scale orchestral and choral works in mind.

The Small Auditorium with 500 seats is a popular conference and concert venue on the second floor of the building. Maestro on the third floor is an auditorium with seating for 230 people. The room is dominated by a panoramic window that runs the entire length of one wall, offering views over Sorsalampi pond.

Tampere Hall has been voted Finland’s best conference centre seven consecutive times.

Star Arena

Star Arena provides state-of-the-art facilities for corporate events, parties, concerts, trade fairs, exhibitions and other large-scale public events.

The 5,000m2 hall is an impressive venue for events. The hall has its own entrances from the street and a restaurant on the second floor. The wide access routes between halls E and A make it easy to transfer from one hall to another, and the two halls work perfectly together for larger events. Hall has a wide range of hanging options and technology connections, as well as a practical logistics centre, which enable the flexible and versatile implementation of productions.

Aku’s Factory

Akun Tehdas is the name of the third album by Eppu Normaali, Finland’s most successful rock band. Akun Tehdas is also a centre of expertise consisting of the AV production company established by the band and a cluster of 15 companies.

Akun Tehdas provides a broad range of events and AV productions, from private parties to festivals and the largest public events in Finland.

In terms of both content and technology, Akun Tehdas is a major player in television and film productions.

The facility also has three recording studios and venues for a diverse range of events.

Kehräsaari Studio

The Kehräsaari studio, located in the heart of Tampere, is a 43 m2 rental studio with a fixed 180 degree greenscreen backround and inclusive lighting equipment. Your rental also includes the use of cozy lounge with kitchen facilities. Because of the central location, the studio is easily reachable by public transport.

The studio facilities on the fourth floor of the old mill premises ensure a peaceful working environment for your production, not to mention the outstanding view on the Tammerkoski river. The studio space is suitable for interviews, castings, piloting, greenscreen filming and photoshoots.

Flycam Oy operates on the same premises with the studio and is also responsible for the management of the studio space.

Visual Norden Oy

Visual Norden is a production company having the strongest focus on films in Tampere region. In addition to its own films Visual Norden has operated as a local production service company coordinating both Finnish and international productions. Snow Queen, a co-production with German Kinderfilm GmbH, was nominated for the best picture Grimme-award.

The producer of Visual Norden is Pasi Hakkio whose previous employers include Bavaria Film and Pohjola-Filmi. Visual Norden has produced also theater and various events.
