Kuru Outdoor and School Museum

There are a total of six buildings in the outdoor museum yard, the most important of which is Vänrikki Stool’s hut. The museum buildings display objects of the past life.

The school museum was one of the first of its kind. The School Museum opened in 1991 when Veli Salin combined the collected school material into a museum. The School Museum displays material from schools in the Kuru area since the 19th century.
