Little Palace

Little Palace “Pikkupalatsi” is a neo-Renaissance building, completed in 1898, located in the Finlayson district of Tampere, at the corner of Hämeenpuisto and Cotton Mill. The drawings of the palace are drawn by architect Fredrik Thesleff. The building has three floors, the top of which is the residential floor, the middle floor and the lowest basement floor. The interior has retained the original interior design designed by the founder of the Iris furniture factory, artist Louis Sparre. The decorative wall and ceiling paneling of the house as well as the door trim are of architectural value and are protected by the town plan.
