Tampere Hall

The Tampere Hall is the largest congress centre in the Nordic countries, located in the southern edge of Sorsapuisto, in the centre of Tampere, Finland. Opposite of the Tampere Hall is the main building of the University of Tampere, and the Tampere railway station is only half a kilometre away. The seating capacity of the Tampere Hall

Ylöjärvi Museum

The museum buildings showcase old-fashioned lifestyles and handicrafts, and exhibit 19th century tools and utensils. The museum area was established in the 1960s when the Ylöjärvi Society first brought an old granary from Tiura’s farm. The museum opened in 1971.

Vikelä Windmill

The Vikelä windmill, built 1838 is one of the finest attractions in Ylöjärvi. 

Viitaniemi Quarry

The Viitaniemi Quarry is an open pit in Eräjärvi, where a large lithium-containing feldspar was mined in 1935–1965. Gemstones, such as tourmaline, are still being mined in the mine’s waste piles. Mecca for many stone enthusiasts.

Vehoniemi Car Museum

Vehoniemi Car Museum was opened to the public in the spring of 1983. The exhibition is constantly changing. The vehicles on display at the museum are still in working order. 

Vehoniemen Alamaja

A café and a restaurant in the wonderful scenery of the Kaivanto canal. The café has two separate cabinets and by combining them with the café premises, you can organize meetings, parties and private events for about 80 people. There is also a Grill-Kiosk “Kaivanto Grilli” nearby. 

Tähtiranta Children´s House

The Children´s house Tähtiranta, known from Pikku Kakkonen children´s programme, is an old house with courtyards and animals located in Koivisto, Kangasala.

Up and Under

Up and Under (Yltä ja Alta) is an impressive piece of earthwork designed by US artist Nancy Holt. Up and Under was completed in 1998. The work is both a high-quality work of art, an outdoor and hiking area and an area suitable for various events.

Tuohikorpi Area

Tuohikorpi is a new neighborhood in Pirkkala. Very colourful townhouses create a unique ambiance.

Tullikamari Cultural Center

Tullikamari Cultural Center is a cultural and multifunctional center operating in Tampere. The Tullikamari’s Pakkahuone main hall has a maximum capacity of 1,200 people and 450 people in the Klubi -club behind the wall. In addition to music concerts, Tullikamari offers theater and dance performances, festivals, exhibitions and dinners.
