Nokia Museums

Metsärinne Home Museum

Metsärinne Home Museum is located in the Ania village of Pirkkala. The place is a lush and atmospheric traditional yard consisting of several buildings of different ages. The east end of the building has a baking room, while the west end has a hall, a chamber and a small workshop. The rooms are beautifully decorated Metsärinne Home Museum

Little Venice Area

Little Venice or Pikku-Venetsia is a unique and picturesque neighborhood in Pirkkala, where the houses are built on an artificial peninsula on the lake.

Lamminpää is a neighborhood in the western part of Tampere, with a number of attractions, like the Blessing Chapel and Cemetery. Lamminpää has its own school and also a library. Kuru Outdoor and School Museum

There are a total of six buildings in the outdoor museum yard, the most important of which is Vänrikki Stool’s hut. The museum buildings display objects of the past life. Knuutila Manor

Knuutila is located in the Nokianvirta estuary, one of the oldest permanently inhabited places in Pirkanmaa. Knuutila Manor is owned by the City of Nokia and managed by the Siuro Society. Kintulammi Outdoor Area

Kintulammi is a great – newly updated – nature destination with trails, duckboards, lean-to’s and signposts. It is situated 20 km from the city centre of Tampere, in the Teisko-Aitolahti district.

Kerhola

Completed in 1929-30, built by Eduard Polón, the head of the rubber factory, with his own resources, for leisure and hobbies of his own factory workers. Even today, Kerhola is in similar use. Kehräsaari
