Pyynikki Area

Pyynikki area consists of a protected area of ​​more than 90 hectares with panoramic views of Lake Pyhäjärvi. Pyynikki ridge is the highest gravel ridge in the world, which rises 162 meters above sea level and 85 meters from the surface of Pyhäjärvi. To the south of the Pyynikki harbor is Pyynikki Summer Theater, Rosendahl Hotel, tennis courts, miniature golf, and a beach spread over two separate sandy beaches. On the ridge is a 25-meter high Pyynikki observation tower, and on the north of the ridge the Pyynikki sports ground.
